Brad Hammond (XY01) was born of years of technological over stimulation and a passionate fascination in human computer interfaces, his rare hybridized skillset of artist and programmer allows him to push the boundaries interactive and immersive digital environments.
Employing next gen technology he explores the boundaries between the human and digital realms, inviting the users to explore, dance and play, dissociating from the real and getting lost in a digital bath of sound, space and colour.

With a unique background in the computer games industry as an artist, designer and programmer, he has a wealth of experience to draw from in creating this new and innovative art form, of immersive public digital spaces, created with expression, exploration and play built into the heart of the designs. Works range from dance mediated nightclub visuals to full skeleton tracking art installations and performances. All of his work has a strong emphasis on audiovisual interaction/reaction to encompass and tie together the sensory experience on as many levels as possible.

His main focuses now are currently Splash, ( Splash.XY01.net ), his own custom built 3D visual synthesizer and Ethno Tekh, a futuristic collaboration of art, music and tech with Chris Vik.
