Better known to family and friends as Ian but when dj’ing he plays under the pseudonym of Liquid Lounge.
An experienced dj with over 20 years’ experience and is synonymous to all things of a chilled nature and when playing, expect his own meandering style of wobbly downtempo tracks across the various genres of dub, psychill, glitchy electronica, temple/sacred bass, psydub, world/ethno rhythms and whatever else tickles his audio receptors…!!!

The last couple of years has seen the Liquid Lounge spanning the globe playing at events like Rainbow Serpent Festival (Aus) to the Inspiral Lounge (UK), supporting such acts as The Orb, Eat Static, Tripswitch, Banco de Gaia, Suns of Arqa and Terra Nine along the way.
With appearances at various and key festivals and events in the UK as well, alongside his frequent sets at Secret Chill, Sunrise and Whirl-Y-Gig, I think it is safe to say that the Liquid Lounge can be counted as one of the UK’s premier chill/downtempo dj’s…
Recently voted the second “Best downtempo / ambient dj” in the world for Psybient.org’s end of year poll for 2014, it’s an accolade that gives him the recognition for the effort he puts into his music and for his tireless support of the scene.
