Khalil Michot is a midtempo bass DJ currently based in Montreal, Canada. With a musical background heavily influenced by his constant travels and bohemian lifestyle, Khalil’s set will take you from the Orient to the Gypsy swamp, the lands of dripping midtempo bass and 21st century progressive psychedelic textures.

Messenger of frequencies and avid beat smuggler, Khalil is a regular face behind the decks within the Montreal psychedelic psybass/glitch scene – he has already taken part in the European and North American transformational festival circuit – playing such gatherings as Solstice Festival (Holland), Eclipse Festival (CA), OZORA Festival, Solar.United.Natives in Hungary as well as Lost Theory and Mo:Dem Festival (2015).

Khalil is currently Label DJ for Shanti Planti – operating on the frontiers of experimental night music.
