Beatroots brings together some intriguing new steppa rhythms. A full length feature of some of his deep dubstep, garage and bass music. The meandering poly-rhythmic pad and chord progression, moves seamlessly in between the intelligent percussion. They cling to the deep rumbling bass tones which hold up the subtle, yet intricate structure of the Beaten Root. The rigorous selection process which Saxon undertook to finally compiling this album, has brought plenty of pleasure and bass aches to his ears. Though now, he is even more honored to be so privileged, as to release the ‘Foundations’ EP on the exciting new collective label, Shanti Planti.
